Purchased at half price which was an absolute bargain! My son is 6 but quite able to build most of this himself. Kept him busy for over 2 hours. Has played with it lots. Stays intact. Loved showing it off to friends especially as the jet wings fan out and close again.

This is the review written by the 8 year old who was actually given the product as a birthday present (only corrected for spelling):
The elastic band powered wings were amazing, especially the way when you pushed the bit forward so the wings would be released and would spring outwards.
I liked the stickers that indicate it is Jay's Jet.
I loved the way the gold blades sprang out because of the hinged Lego and the elastic band.
It was quite hard to make and I liked that because some of my Lego is too easy to make.

I would suggest that adding a gun to the front of the jet make it even better.

My son bought this to add to his Ninjago collection. I am always looking for a bargain so I was pleased that there was 25% off. My son and his friend built the model together, which kept them quiet for about an hour and they are really pleased with the result.
